With a strong an vibrant background and experience in the field of general contracting and entrepreneurship, Dean Toth, founder of Colorado Mountain Builders, is much more than simply a builder of homes. Dean is a builder of family, business & community.

Dean Toth, 60, has been an entrepreneur for most of his life, owning and operating several companies. Currently he and his son, Kyle, own Colorado Mountain Builders, LLC, a general contracting firm located in Woodland Park, Colorado.

Like Father, Like Son!
Dean, is currently sharing his vast knowledge and experience with his son, Kyle, who now manages Colorado Mountain Builders with his father on a daily basis. Kyle has been around construction and building homes all his life by his fathers side. Together, they are Colorado Mountain Builders!

37 Years & Growing Strong!
A little history…

Dean obtained his first General Contractors “B” License at the age of 23 in California, becoming the youngest general contractor ever licensed in the state. His company at that time was a general contracting firm that specialized in framing, detail framing, finish carpentry, foundations as well as roofing and roof repair services.

In 1991, Dean moved to Woodland Park, Colorado, where he now holds General Contractor “B” Licenses in Teller County, Fremont County, El Paso County, Douglas County, Park County, and the cities of Woodland Park, Cripple Creek, Castle Rock, and Colorado Springs, Colorado

They initially performed their own surveying, foundations, framing, trim carpentry, and roofing. As the company grew, they began subcontracting more of the trades out to highly vetted local contractors, which allowed the company to expand, while still maintaining strong quality control.

Kyle Toth, a skilled employee & owner of Colorado Mountain Builders, and proud son of Dean Toth, founder, graduated with a trades certificate in Building & Construction from Pikes Peak Community College in 2019.

With a strong foundation in various construction trades, Kyle embarked on a full-time journey with Colorado Mountain Builders, a family business. Initially, he honed his skills working alongside framing and roofing contractors, as well as in trim carpentry, flatwork, and foundations.

Driven by a passion for excellence, Kyle’s commitment to continuous growth led him to learn all facets of general contracting. This comprehensive understanding enables him to oversee the entire construction process of high-quality homes, from initiation to completion.

Over the span of four years working by his fathers side, Kyle’s involvement and responsibilities within the company have flourished and greatly increased, resulting in his current position as the supervisor of all field operations.

Kyle’s expertise extends beyond the field, as he actively contributes to the front office operations. He assists with crucial tasks such as estimating, banking, and managing construction loan and finance-related matters.

With his diverse skill set and hands-on experience, Kyle Toth exemplifies professionalism and proficiency in the construction industry.

Headquartered in Teller County, and more specifically Woodland Park, Colorado, we are sensitive to the entire Front Range and the surrounding communities including our friends below in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This allows us to focus our time and effort on special clients, whos interests we know well. It is a very special feeling knowing only a select few have our vast experience and knowledge of this truly amazing region.
